I can't believe I finished! It was hard, but it was also fun and interesting. I particularly liked finding something fun for Number 4's YouTube and Number 15's Second Life was pretty cool too. The one thing about the whole process that was unexpected was how much fun it was to work on with my co-workers. We all helped each other a bunch and had great fun in the process! Anita, Phyllis, and Carol helped me immensely and I'm grateful for their generosity. The one thing that I will continue to use is the online word processing sites. My husband needs to e-mail documents all the time in his business and it was very useful to discover these options. Thanks for the experience of "20 Things."

This was a hard one!! But I finally got an RSS Feed on my Bloglines account from Podcast Alley. It shows up on my feeds as "Blogging from the Alley."

I went on two web-sites listed under "Fun Things." One is called "One Sentence" where people try to tell their life story in one sentence. Some of the entries were hilarious; some were just sad. The second site I went on was "Fuzz Mail."
I also went on a couple of the word processing sites - "Think Free" and "Writeboard" - these sites could be very useful to the library because you can produce documents or spreadsheets online and share them by e-mail and even have the one you share with be able to revise the document or spreadsheet. Very interesting.

This is a great site. I went on Google Docs and created a document and e-mailed it to my husband. This site may be a good solution for my husband's business - he has to send reports thru e-mail but he has Windows Vista and his companies can't open his e-mails.

I looked at the SJCPL Subject Guide wiki and the Book Lovers wiki. They were good. I have been using Wikipedia for quite some time. The latest thing I looked up was info on St. Valentine for a meeting around Valentine's day. I also looked up St. Patrick last year on St. Patrick's day.

I tried to watch "Introduction to Second Life" but I couldn't hear it. I watched "U2 in SL Virtual Concert" and I loved it. I also watched "Second Life Apple Store." They both were very cool. It reminded me of the old "Sims" game only much more advanced. I can see how people might get addicted to this kind of thing.

I read the articles by Rick Anderson, Michael Stephens, and Chip Nilges. It sounds like there are some interesting technical innovations in store for librarys in the next few years. Our level of customer service should improve accordingly.
